Millennium Square Work Party

Our bi-weekly work party at Millennium Square will concentrate on the herb beds both in front of the new We The Curious building was well as in the bed in Millennium Square. We have mint and lemon balm which have both gone crazy and need removing, and there is lots of tidying needed in the main herb bed under the soft fruit to ensure it has enough air to fruit well.

Come along and join us! There may even be spare plants to give away!

Grow Your Own-The Movie!!

We will be showing this great film at Avonmouth Community Centre, following the huge success of our screening of Demain.

The film is set on an allotment site and really looks at the relationships forged by gardening. it is an uplifting, funny but very poignant film, and we are really excited to be collaborating with the guys at the community centre again.

There will be tea and cakes and it will be the culmination of our exciting work with Fun Palaces for the weekend!

The link to book your ticket is here……

Severn Beach Work Party

Our work along the Severn Beach line continues to expand and today’s work party will see us begin work at Clifton Down Station. There are lots of beds at this station, all of which have become a little bit lost and so this session will see lots of clearance, some wild flower sowing and lots of opportunities to wave at trains.

If you would like to join us, please email hannah@ediblebristol.org.uk. Due to railway rules we do need to get you to sign up for these sessions.

Want to see what a Severn Beach Line work party is like? Here’s a great video made by our very own Hannah!

Edible Park Work Party!

Our Edible Park is one of the spaces we at Incredible Edible Bristol are most proud of and we are making plans over the winter to really maximise it’s beauty and productivity moving into 2018. One of the ways we will be doing that is through great use of wild flowers and wildlife friendly seed mixes that will really support wildlife in the space, as well as people.

This session will see some clearance and adding of the beginnings of these spaces. making sure that the Urban Food Trail really does support all the species in the city to be healthy!
