Making Raised Beds from Pallets Workshop

This great course will be a practical, hands on learning experience, making raised beds in The Secret Garden at Avonmouth Station.

The workshop will include how to choose the perfect pallet, how to ensure your beds are safe and sturdy, where to source your pallets from as well as some practical work around the best uses of raised beds in gardens, allotments and in the public realm. At the same time the group will make a large raised bed that will be left on site for the Avonmouth community to use.

Because we want you to get the best experience possible, this workshop has limited numbers so do get your tickets before they are all gone!!

Severn Beach Work Party

Our work along the Severn Beach line continues to expand and today’s work party will see us begin work at Clifton Down Station. There are lots of beds at this station, all of which have become a little bit lost and so this session will see lots of clearance, some wild flower sowing and lots of opportunities to wave at trains.

If you would like to join us, please email hannah@ediblebristol.org.uk. Due to railway rules we do need to get you to sign up for these sessions.

Want to see what a Severn Beach Line work party is like? Here’s a great video made by our very own Hannah!
