Castle Park Work Party

Come along and help us plant onions and other alliums in the garden in Castle Park.

This garden had some enormous issues this year due to the hideously dry early summer but now we will be making amends and ensuring it is super productive for the year ahead. So why not come along and join us?

Compost Day in The Bearpit

The compost area in the Bearpit Garden needs some attention so why not come along and learn lots about composting whilst giving us a hand to sort it out?

We’ll be turning, chopping and generally sorting as well as hopefully using some of the good compost for some mulching of the garden.

Everyone is welcome-no need to register-and come for as long or as short a time as you might be able to manage…

Severn Beach Work Party

Our work along the Severn Beach line continues to expand and today’s work party will see us begin work at Clifton Down Station. There are lots of beds at this station, all of which have become a little bit lost and so this session will see lots of clearance, some wild flower sowing and lots of opportunities to wave at trains.

If you would like to join us, please email hannah@ediblebristol.org.uk. Due to railway rules we do need to get you to sign up for these sessions.

Want to see what a Severn Beach Line work party is like? Here’s a great video made by our very own Hannah!

Bearpit Garden Work Party

The garden in the Bearpit goes from strength to strength and we are now looking at planting more spring bulbs, ready for an explosion of colour in early 2018, and organising the composting area so that it is a bit more efficient.

So why not come and lend us a hand? We will be in the garden from 10-4 but you can join us for any of that time, from 10 minutes to the whole session if you feel like it. No need to bring anything other than enthusiasm and a smile….
