Due to the huge success of last year’s hard fruit pruning workshop, we will be running it again this January in Millennium Square.

The workshop will cover pruning hard fruits, the benefits of mulching and general hard fruit care throughout the season.

If you would like to take part please email sara@ediblebristol.org.uk and we will put you on the list of participants. There are limited spaces so please don’t wait until the last minute, although we will open a waiting list if necessary. All you need to bring is a pair of secateurs, some gardening gloves and plenty of enthusiasm!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Millennium Square Fruit Pruning Workshop

This winter the fruit trees provided by Almondsbury Garden Centre for Millennium Square are going to need their first good prune. This is to ensure that they become well shapen specimens but also that they fruit well, next year and in years to come!!

So with this in mind we are holding a fruit pruning workshop that will concentrate on apples and pears, on 21st January from 11am to 1pm.

There are limited spaces in this session as we want to ensure that everyone who comes along leaves confident in the knowledge that they have really learnt how to prune an apple tree and can take that knowledge away with them to use in the future. So if you would like to be one of the attendees do please email sara@ediblebristol.org.uk and book yourself a place. It will be first come, first served!!
