Today we put a pop up edible garden next to the Big Green Week Hub at Harbourside, just next to the fountain steps.
The garden is an example of how space can be used, even if it is really limited, by growing plants in containers, and how even in a really tiny space it’s possible to fit in 5 or 6 smallish pots full of herbs and veg plants, and make that small space look both lush and productive.
We also have added a bench, so that people can sit in, and use the garden whilst it’s in situ!!
Why not pop along and take a look and think about what plants you could grow in a lost space around your home?
Below is a list of the plants we have used. All the trees are on dwarf root stocks and so won’t get more than 6 feet tall, making them ideal for small spaces, or front gardens.
