Residents of Lockleaze are about to embark on the creation of an amazing new community orchard alongside the piece of the Concorde Way that runs by the side of the railway.

They have a Facebook group, called Lockleaze Community Orchard that will keep you informed of what they are up to and how they are getting on, and we at Incredible Edible Bristol are going to support them in any way we can as we think this project is awesome.

So the first way we, and all our supporters can help them, is to turn up for their first workday which will be a very good work out as there is a lot of clearing to do on the site. We would suggest sturdy gloves and wellies and a spade and secateurs if you have them!
