Charles Dowding is a guru when it comes to soil and compost and how to enrich your soil so that digging is unnecessary. At his home near Glastonbury, Charles grows on a plot of 3/4 of an acre and provides many restaurants and cafes in the local area with beautiful salad leaves and vegetables that are grown for depth of flavour. Having written several books on food growing and gardening more generally, he has a wealth of knowledge which he is always very generous in sharing.

Avon Organics have organised this event entirely and we are just helping them to advertise it but we guarantee a great evening where you will learn many things from a wonderful man who treads lightly on his land.

The Event is at The Station on Silver Street from 7pm and costs £5 to enter.
