The group at Dame Emily Park meet on the 2nd Sunday of each month to maintain, plant and plot the community garden at the top end of Dame Emily Park.
If you live in the BS3/4 areas you might like to get involved in this exciting community space. Just pop along and get involved. Everyone is welcome!!

The garden in Dame Emily Park goes from strength to strength and is becoming a beautiful and productive space. Why not come along and take part in this session where the group will be maintaining the garden as well as harvesting some crops and sowing some autumn crops!!
All are welcome but under 16s must accompanied by an adult.
On Saturday 16th July we will be beginning to plant a new garden, in collaboration with the Better Food Company, at their new site at Wapping Wharfe. This will see some sad looking car park type planting removed, and the garden begun with lots of beautiful herbs, fruit and veg, making the space both more interesting as well as beautiful and productive…..
We will be on site from 2 pm, with our project leader, Sara Venn, giving a talk about changing urban spaces using food growing at 2 in the new cafe at the Wapping Wharfe shop.
