Chatterton’s House Work Party

Come along and help us to continue the work on the garden outside Chatterton’s Cafe, opposite St Mary Redcliffe Church. We’ll be tidying up after winter, turning compost and generally getting the garden into a fit state for the year ahead.

We’ll also be looking at sowing plenty of seeds in the pollinator bed to replenish that so we can ensure we are feeding those bees and pollinators. so that in turn they pollinate our crops.

Pop along for 10 minutes or the whole work party, and let’s get this garden ready for growing….

Urban Food Trail Work Party

We will begin this work party at the garden at 100 Temple Street, where we will be tidying the crops that are finished and bringing the garden back into control!

Then we will wander along to the garden outside Chatterton’s Cafe, tidy and clean up that garden and sow some green manures, feeding the garden for the year ahead, and ensuring we support the growing of more crops next year.

Don’t forget everyone is welcome at this work party, and you don’t need any particular skills to join in. Just bring enthusiasm and we will bring the tea!

#UrbanFoodTrail Work Party

Meet us at the garden by Chatterton’s Cafe and help us to begin to organise this garden for the season ahead, both for people and pollinators!

We will then potter down to 100 Temple Street and do some more preparation work on the garden here, pruning the fruit trees and soft fruit and clearing any annuals from last year.

Everyone is very welcome at these sessions, but please do wear sturdy shoes and bring waterproofs, just in case!

Chatterton’s House Edible Garden

This workshop will tidy the beds on the site next to (Thomas) Chatterton’s House and show participants how to edge beds using wood, as well as planting up the beds, one of which will be planted specifically with pollinator friendly plants.

This is a workshop and we would like you to register for it prior to the date so we can ensure everyone gets a great experience and learns lots of new skills. Please email sara@ediblebristolorguk.wpcomstaging.com if you would like a place.
