Herb Planting at our Edible Park

We have been funded by the Time For Change Champions to hold an event that highlights mental health awareness whilst having a great time planting herbs into the area we are going to turn into a herb garden at the Edible Park.

Recently the NHS published their 5 Steps to Mental Wellbeing and food growing and gardening work with each step. We regularly say to people that there is no need to feel you must do heavy work when you come and volunteer with us, and that just enjoying the space you are in whilst meeting new people and being outdoors enjoying yourself is just as important to us. Often perhaps people think we don’t mean that, but we really, really do. As we always say, if you eat you’re in!

So come along on 13th February and say hello. If you feel like planting a herb do so, but more importantly enjoy the wonderful space and tell us what you want and need from Incredible Edible Bristol.
