The garden at the Quakers Burial Ground has been abundant this year and we have pretty much left it to get on with it as it was so great!! However, it’s time to look at an autumn tidy up and so we will spend this work party doing just that, and using the compost that we have made in the garden to add a mulch to the soil in order to keep it fertile!
So why not join us? We’ll focus on how to do a good tidy for autumn whilst leaving things in place for pollinators to overwinter in, and learn lots about mulching as we go!
Come along and lend a hand in the Bearpit Garden with controlling the weeds as well as planting out onions and shallots!
Everyone is welcome and stay for as long or short a time as you might like…..
Come along to the Edible Park at the Quakers Burial Ground, where we will be maintaining the gardens, enjoying the space and no doubt drinking tea!!
All are welcome so why not pop along and find out more?
Come along to our Edible Park at the Quakers Burial Ground near Redcliffe Wharfe and join in with our ongoing programme of works in the space!!
