Success With Seeds

Following on from the success of this course earlier in the year, we will be running it one more time during Bristol Food Connections Week.

We will look at sowing seeds of many varieties, both edible and ornamental, how to keep your seedlings alive, when to pot them on, and how to ensure you get great plants from your seed sowings, that are productive and beautiful

The Annual Bristol Seed SwapSunday 3rd

The Annual Bristol Seed Swap will be held at the Station Kitchen on Silver Street in the city centre, on Sunday 3rd February.

As with any seed swap, bring unwanted packets of seeds, or seeds that you know you have too many of, and swap them for others that will be all prepared for you!

And if you have no seeds but still want to take part, you can make a small donation that will end up supporting the seed swap to continue, and take your choice of seeds away with you.

There will be lots of tea, coffee and cakes as well as trees to buy from a local grower.

There are also great talks, including our own founder, Sara Venn, who will be speaking at 1pm. Other speakers are Tim Foster and Ed Revil.
